Matt Ferberized Akiva and he slept through the night last night! The first night was the worst and each night has gotten progressively better. He is such a good baby! I am trying to get him on a better napping schedule as well. Right now he grabs a nap here and there but does not have a fixed time where he sleeps in his crib.
I get the girls to nap most of the time at one in the afternoon. Akiva generally nurses at that time and falls asleep with me while I nurse him. If I get up he gets up. He needs to sleep in his crib and get a good solid nap. It is just hard because he has no choice but to go with the flow and we are always on the move. My goal is to get this poor kid on a schedule before he can walk or stand in the crib. When they can stand in the crib, everything changes because then they will just stand there and scream at you when everyone just wants to sleep.

Poor Jordan
My poor Jordan, she wants to be a big kid so badly. We switched Sydney and Lior's room today to make room for Akiva. Akiva got the girls old room and they moved into what used to be our guest room. Now Matt does not have to paint and everyone is happy, except Jordan. She wanted to move also. When the girls went upstairs to look at their new room I had the letters that used to hang over their beds laying on the bed so they could pick which bed they wanted. It is funny Sydney picked the bed I thought she would and Lior just went with the flow and was happy that the new lamp made it back into the room. "Look mom, my lamp is here! I love my lamp!"
Jordan looked around and was surprised that her crib was not in the room. Sydney was also disappointed "What about Jordan?" They really thought Jordan was going to sleep in their room too. If we did that nobody would get any sleep and Matt would be even crankier.
Jordan climbed into one of the beds and said "I going to sleep" which made me feel even worse. I need to do something special for her room to make her feel a little better. By the time bed time came around she was so tired that there was not an issue but I hate that she feels left out. I need to go out and get her a letter for her wall like the girls have and put them all up on the same day or something.
Akiva is OK with the move as long as there is something for him to chew on. He does not know what he is in for. I suspect there will be a lot of crying in his future. Maybe I'll get him a letter too.

Drunken sailor
We spent the day at the mall with our friends. Lior was truly happy because she had the opportunity to spend time with her boyfriend Reece. If you ask Lior if Reece is her boyfriend she says "yes" and her face lights up and she laughs sheepishly. She just loves this little boy! He is very cute and lets her do whatever she wants to him, which included feeding him french fries and chicken nuggets while she kissed him. It is true love.
While we were in Gymboree spending our Gymbucks my girls decided to strip. Off came the shirts and there was absolutely no hope in getting them back on. They ran through the mall shirtless. They must take after their father.
The girls were very tired after their very busy day and I thought bedtime might be easier but Sydney has been having a very hard time going to sleep lately and tonight was no different. I don't know why. We used to put them in their cribs and give them hugs and kisses and they would lay in their cribs and listen to their music. Now it is not that easy, actually it is really horrible! She screams and cries and Matt usually has to go back in and sit in her room until she is calm and gives him permission to leave. Matt is way too tired and focused on his ear pain tonight and we let little miss Sydney cry it out (CIO) and boy was she mad. She must have cried for about 15 minutes and then she calmed down and went to sleep. I decided to go and check on her to make sure she was in a bed and I found a nice surprise waiting for me outside their gated bedroom door.
