Much to everyone's surprise, including mine, I do not have gestational diabetes. The doctor still wants me to watch my sugar and carbohydrate intake but I do not have to go to the specialist. Hooray, no specialist for me. I am just thrilled that I will not have to try and schedule another doctors appointment in addition to going to the regular OB every two weeks. The only down side is that I will probably not get another ultra-sound which is unfortunate because it is always nice to see the baby.
The OB did say we could schedule the c-section during my next appointment!!! The end is near and in two weeks we will know when this little baby will be making its grand entrance. Unless it decides to come early and screw up all our plans.
