This weekend we took the kids to Gumbo Limbo to enjoy the sea turtles. We arrived at the park forty minutes early and discovered that there is a little park right on the intra-coastal where we could sit and watch the boats. It was just beautiful and the breeze was just fantastic. The girls loved looking at the boats and throwing pretzels into the water to feed the fish. Matt had several small heart attacks and emptied his pockets of all electronics just in case he needed to jump in to the water after one of our very daring children.
We kept Jordan in the stroller because had she been given the opportunity to roam free she would have been swimming!
It is amazing how much she wants to be just like the big girls and tries to do everything they do. She climbed onto a bench and looked off into the water with her big sister. While she was climbing I reminded Matt to keep an eye on her because I was afraid she was going to fall off. He reminded me that Jordan was "two" and just fine without any help.
